Shanghai was the birthplace of Elyn. Her childhood memories will remain there forever. Her grandparents, an all-season bicycle, smells that are not the same in summer and winter. And then, these French trees, a pestilential river, sputtering boats on the Suzhou River.
She had no friends and devoted her time to thinking about the light of her city. She secretly listened to love broadcasts, hummed, and often sad, on a prison radio.
At dawn, his angels, foggy and drunk from the night, woke up as vampires who exhausted his days.
Shanghai is his city and his hell. The scars are deep that prevent him from sleeping every night despite all the drunkenness. The traces will remain, indelible.
