Is the city sinking or is it emerging from the waters? Elyn sees it being reborn as her personal experience has shown her that sinking is not inevitable. How many years does a life count? How many times can we repeat old experiences? How much love can we renew? Very often, fear and lack of audacity keep us in a life that we would like to reverse. By leaving China, Elyn took the step, without apprehension, with two suitcases for all she needed. Finding meaning in life, starting from scratch, rising from her indigestible ashes. Elyn will always refuse to endure her life. She will be reborn as many times as necessary to save her passion for living and painting, beyond all the painful experiences that a very simple life can, despite everything, bring.
