Memory of light

peinture à l'huile

50x100 cm

There are no street lamps. Only the lights on the road twinkle. Night has taken over the city. Taxis rush to drive you crazy. Cars are there to bring light. Everything else is shadow. The stars twinkle but the icy wind has taken over the city. Elyn remains indifferent to this polar city. She goes home without a taxi. The night will be calm and her sleep will be of bronze. The clock in the house will rock her as her heart beats. Her night and her dreams of warmth will carpet this Earth she did not choose. Silence will be the virtue.
